First Aid (19.06.24)
Our whole school took part in some first aid workshops today. Each workshop was tailored to the age of the children, but every class learnt what to do in an emergency. First, they explored what a pulse is and how to find someone’s pulse, including their own! The children learned the acronym DRABC which can help if anyone finds a casualty. Then they practised giving 30 chest compressions to their teddies. It was very informative and everyone listened well!
