As part of the Farm to Fork Trail, we enjoyed visiting Tesco at Bishop Auckland. As a class, we visited lots of different areas of the supermarket to learn more about where our food comes from. We enjoyed learning about where different fruit and vegetables are produced, how bread is made in store each day and how a fish is filleted. By the end of the day, we had a much greater understanding of how our food ends up in the supermarket.
